Geoboard

Geoboard questions are useful for doing formative practice and assessments to help students learn geometric shapes. The student responses can be scored (e.g. "Draw a right triangle") or not (e.g. "Draw a house").

Try it

Click a colored band to add it to the grid, then click and drag the band with the mouse to stretch it.

How it works

Students are presented a number of colored bands and a grid of "pegs" and asked create a specific shape or given free rein to draw as they wish.

The student response can be automatically scored using a pre-defined collection of patterns (e.g. right triangle) or an exact match of an expected response.
